The JPR conference is the premier event on medical imaging in Latin America and the fourth largest in the world.

Health4Haiti Receives iCRco Equipment Donation to Aid Disaster Victims

Responding to a routine call for equipment specifications, iCRco, a global leader in providing innovative digital x-ray solutions, recently donated two iCR3600 digital radiography systems to help improve health care conditions for Haitians in the town of Gonaives. iCRco announced that the x-ray equipment is in the final installation process and will be used to treat patients in January, 2012.

Last year, Haiti was struck by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake. One of the organizations responding early to the urgent call for medical care was Health4Haiti, which had established a presence in Haiti several years before the earthquake struck

iCRco and Chinese Distribution Partner Hokai Medical Instruments Win 300 unit DR order

Hokai Medical Instruments are to supply 300 iDR DR detectors to the China Charity Federation (CCF). Hokai will integrate iCRco’s iDR digital detector to provide a turn-key solution called the HGYX-III-DR.

The goals of CCF are simply to honor the spirit of humanitarianism and the Chinese tradition of helping people in poverty or with special needs to be able to help themselves. iCRco Releases a New Version of iClarity; Advanced Medical Image Viewing App for the iPad and the iPhone

iCRco has released a new version of iClarity; advanced medical image viewing App which is now optimized for the iPad, iPhone, and the iPod. Two versions are available; a Lite version with full demonstration mode is on the iTunes store for “free” and the full version that works in conjunction with a separately purchased iClarity Edge server.

iClarity enables physicians and radiologists to view images from iCRco's Clarity PACS or from a third party PACS using the iClarity Edge Server. This greatly improves physician’s productivity with the access to DICOM images remotely, and is paving the way to a new age approach to portable image viewing. A powerful search facility allows the physician to select the desired archive and sort worklist by Name, ID, Modality and Date. In this version of iClarity, features like search filters, zoom, pan, measurement tools, window and level tools, cine tools and e- mailing studies are optimized for the iPad.

iCRco Signs Distribution Agreement With GE Healthcare

iCRco, a manufacturer of innovative digital x-ray solutions, has signed a distribution agreement with GE Healthcare, a unit of General Electric Company, for its computed radiography (CR) systems.

Under this distribution contract, GE Healthcare will provide access to the iCRco products through the GE distribution network to selected countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

iCRco Conducts Yearly Distributor Training Programs in Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific Regions

iCRco started conducting a series of trainings for distributors attending from all over Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific. The first two trainings took place in iCRco’s European offices in Munich with over 25 distributors attending from Europe and the Middle East. The 4th Annual Asia Pacific training will be held in Kuala Lumpur, with expected attendance of 13 different countries with many of them being new distributors to iCRco.

iCRco decided to conduct these trainings due to rapid expansion of the company’s presence in Europe and Middle Eastern regions. The competitiveness of iCRco combined with new product offerings at the 2009 RSNA has attracted much interest, and led to many new distributor relationships. With the opening of the European office in Munich, and having a service and support team directly from this office has made these trainings happen efficiently and quickly.
